Titirangi Primary School GALA
Well we did it. It would have to be the best Gala so far,what a fantastic Team effort! Yes the rain was disappointing but there were still many smiling faces going home. Thank you to everyone for the hours of work involved and getting through the usual last minutes glitches. The hilarious antics on the Dunking Machine, the fabulous new stage, with the stunning sound system provided for us by Dave and his colleague Neil from Oceania, the great auctioning skill of Colleen, all the fabulous food ,coffee, ice cream and more made for a really special day. I just have to say that when Katie Dunser came into the Haunted House when it was being set up and said "hey that’s the window from my house" we knew that some really had gone the extra mile!
The Operations Team, new this year in their Green Kermit Tee Shirts did an amazing job getting everyone into place and back out again. A few hairy moments did occur but that’s life at a Gala.
We hope that you were able to have a fun day despite the hard work and that you were able to get a bargin from the White Elephant , Uber Chic Boutique or the Silent Auction as there were certainly many to be had.
